Update: Introducing a Scalable Reward Pool Model

A significant enhancement to our reward system that ensures fairness, sustainability, and engagement for everyone in our community. After listening to feedback and closely analyzing participation trends, we’re adopting a new scalable reward pool model tailored to better reflect activity levels and energy offset achievements.

What’s Changing?

The daily reward pool will now adjust dynamically based on the total energy consumed for on-chain offsets. This means:

• For every 1 kilowatt-hour (KWh) offset, 1 credit will be added to the daily reward pool.

• The reward pool will scale up naturally with increased activity but will be capped at 100,000 credits to maintain balance.

For example:

• On days with a total of 23,000 KWh offset, the reward pool will be 23,000 credits.

• On more active days with 123,000 KWh offset, the reward pool will cap at 100,000 credits.

Rewards will align more closely with actual community participation and contributions.

A capped model ensures long-term viability while scaling proportionately with activity.

This flexible system encourages continued involvement by adapting to varying participation levels.

Starting: 1st May 2025, the new pool structure is active

We are aiming to update the structure very early in May, the update notice of it will basically happen after the change passes the checks and is put into production level on live servers.
